Installation Terms and Site Conditions

Installation Disclaimer – Unforeseen Site Conditions

–

Our site survey and quotation are based on the conditions that are visible and reasonably identifiable at the time of inspection. Certain hidden or pre-existing issues, particularly within plumbing, piping, electrical systems, walls, fittings, or existing equipment, may only become apparent once installation or removal work has commenced.

Should any such unforeseen conditions require additional materials, repairs, modifications, or labour, these will be charged separately and added to the initial quotation. Where practicable, the customer will be informed before the additional work is undertaken.

We will also not be liable for damage to old, deteriorated, corroded, brittle, poorly installed, or previously damaged pipes, fittings, boilers, heaters, electrical components, or other existing installations that occurs during reasonable removal, disconnection, modification, or upgrading work. For example, an old boiler or fitting may deteriorate or break apart during removal, or ageing pipes may crack when disconnected.

This does not exclude responsibility for damage directly caused by negligence or improper workmanship by our technicians.

By instructing us to proceed with the installation after receiving the quotation, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms, including responsibility for any additional costs arising from unforeseen or concealed site conditions.
