Shipping Policy

All defined terms used below shall have the meanings set forth in our Terms and Conditions.

What is the estimated delivery time for orders?

We know once you’ve placed your order, you are anxious to receive your items. We make every effort to get your order delivered to you as quickly as possible. Our standard delivery times are as given below. However you are advised to confirm the actual delivery time by calling or writing to us.

  • In stock items – Within 1-2 business days of receiving order, including same day delivery.
  • In stock at vendor – Within 5-7 business days of receiving order.
  • Drop-Ship merchandise will be “drop-shipped” directly to you from our suppliers within 7-14 business days.
  • Out-of-Stock Items: You will be notified if an item is out-of-stock when your order is processed. We will email you the estimated lead-time and you have an option to cancel the order with refund, if the lead-time is not acceptable. If you keep the order, we will keep you updated on the backorder status and you may choose to cancel at any time before delivery for a full refund.

How much does delivery cost? Do you offer free shipping?

Our delivery rates are given as follows; Orders above KES 3,000 may qualify for FREE shipping (where we subsidize the cost of delivery) within Nairobi CBD. For orders below KES 3,000, you may or may not be charged KES 100 for delivery within Nairobi CBD.

Delivery outside Nairobi CBD will be charged from KES 150 and up depending on how far it is. You may also be required to pay full delivery cost (without us subsidizing) for orders containing special offer products or orders below a given value as we may deem reasonably fit. This will be communicated before we process your order. 

Orders outside Nairobi CBD are required to be paid for in full via our Pay Bill  Number (BUSINESS NO: 303030    ACC NO: 2045084844    SHOPMERIX SUPPLIERS LTD), M-Pesa Number (0725 057 210) or via the provided Buy Goods & Services Till Number, before we dispatch them (payment method will be displayed at checkout).

We may also require you to pay at least half the order amount before we can dispatch your order – That is if the total order value exceeds KES 15,000/-.

We use our preferred couriers for upcountry orders (Fargo, Guardian, North Rift, etc.) but can also use your preferred courier.

NOTE: DELIVERY FEES SHOWN ON THE CHECKOUT PAGE ARE ESTIMATES AND SOME MAY BE INACCURATE; HENCE WE MAY ASK YOU TO TOP UP THE AMOUNT EVEN AFTER YOU ALREADY PAID FOR THE ORDER ON THE WEBSITE. PLEASE CONFIRM BEFORE CHECKING OUT IF YOU ARE NOT SURE.
